WIP: Stripe Study Shawl

My latest obsession, er work in progress, is the Stripe Study Shawl. I needed a good knit for my Alaska trip and my friend Mel suggested this one. SUCH a good suggestion! It's involved enough to not be boring, but not so much that I need to concentrate much. Very social! I'm about halfway there and really looking forward to finishing!

zucchini tots. winning!

We have so so so much zucchini in the garden right now and I know there's much more to come. I've been on the lookout for new zucchini recipes on Pinterest and yesterday I found a winner. Zucchini tots. The tots require a mini muffin pan, but we don't have one. I doubled the recipe and made them in a regular muffin pan...the result: delicious zucchini cakes. WOWZERS! Only a few ingredients and very minimal prep work. I decided at the last minute to try them and I had all of the ingredients right here (including zucchini fresh from the garden). I'll be making these again - probably this week!
